Are we there yet?

Travel is going to be a whole new adventure now!

Remember when we used to pack the car and travel across the open roads to Grandma’s house. All five kids were crammed in with Mad magazines, car games, cards, books, and hands that couldn’t seem to keep to themselves. Arguing, (constantly) “mom, he’s touching me,” or “dad, he won’t leave me alone,” used to drive the older people in the front seat, nuts!

Those days are over now (?)… I think the introduction of Corvid-19 and any other strange virus’ strain that’s working it’s way to a (oops, did I do that?) broken test tube and into the air stream will be changing the way we had lived. Six feet apart is extremely hard to maintain in the middle or back seat of a car when there is only one back seat and three children required to sit there.

The size of families will have to change. The vehicle families own will decide. Two will be the limit if the family drives a car, four if you drive a van. That rule will be applied for both mom and dad. I’m going to admit that this situation makes me a little upset, I’d rather be able to set my own personal space. I don’t care for material covering my face and I don’t need the government telling me how to spend my day. But…

It’s a new world and a new way of living. It’s not just America, it’s affected every country. So, if you can… stay at home, pester your cat, play with your dog, converse with your kids, and drive your spouse bonkers, it will make homebound nice. Join me!
